- Rock Torhout-Werchter (1975 – 1995)
One of Europe’s most prestigious rock and pop festivals, held annually in early July in Werchter, Flemish Brabant. Founded in 1974 by promoter Herman Schueremans. From 1976 to 1995 paired with Rock Torhout as a twin festival. Has grown to a four-day event attracting 88,000 daily visitors. Named Best Major Festival at the European Festival Awards multiple times. Has hosted virtually every major act from The Rolling Stones, U2, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Beyoncé to Daft Punk, Muse, Pearl Jam and Coldplay. Organised by Live Nation Belgium.
