Legendary Belgian rock festival that ran from 1976 to 1998 in Torhout, West Flanders. From 1976 to 1995, Rock Torhout and Rock Werchter formed a twin festival: the same line-up played both locations on consecutive days. Featured major international headliners including David Bowie, The Cure, R.E.M., Nirvana and Radiohead. The Torhout edition ended in 1998. The site has since hosted TW Classic (since 2003), a one-day festival focusing on established classic rock acts.
