One of Europe’s premier heavy metal and hard rock festivals, held annually in late June in Dessel, province of Antwerp. Started in 1986 as a local event, evolved into the current Graspop Metal Meeting format in 1996. Spans three to four days on a dedicated festival site. Features multiple stages and attracts around 90,000 fans per edition. Has hosted virtually every major metal act including Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Rammstein, Judas Priest and hundreds more.
