Dvorana Borik

Multifunctional indoor sports hall in the Borik neighbourhood of Banja Luka, designed by architect Sead Zahirovic and opened in 1974. With a playing field of 50 x 24 metres and a capacity of approximately 4,000 (2,400 seated plus standing), it serves as the home arena for basketball club KK Borac and handball club RK Borac. Beyond sport, the hall has a rich history of hosting concerts by major Yugoslav and international artists, as well as fairs, conferences and cultural events. The entrance hall features an Olympic Arch dedicated to Banja Luka athletes who won gold at the Olympic Games. After fifty years of continuous use, Dvorana Borik remains one of the city’s most important cultural and sporting landmarks.
